Mission Presidents Seminar
President and Sister Adams were able to travel to Guatemala for a week in August to attend a mission president seminar. This seminar is held annually for all the mission presidents in the surrounding missions. As the member of the Quorum of the twelve Apostles over this area, Elder Cook was in attendance with his wife as well as Elder Christenson of the Seventy and his wife. It was a bit of a "breather" and rejuvenation for these Presidents and wives who have been working tirelessly for the last couple of months.

Resort outside of Antigua
Email from President Adams on 8/18/16
We are at this resort out side of Antigua, which is surrounded by 4 volcanoes, one is active. This was formerly a large coffee plantation.
There is an 18 hole, Pete Dye course, which, yes, I actually got to play
on Tuesday, and Mom came along for the ride.
We happened to be here when the volcano erupted.

Hurricane Earl
To whom it may concern:
We wish to
inform you that all missionaries in Belize are safe. Hurricane Earl came
through Belize last night, but all missionaries were evacuated from all
areas of danger and stayed in areas of safety.
No one was harmed in any way. Please let your local leaders know that
the missionaries are safe.
If you have any concerns or questions, you may contact President Adams:

Much Missed Suitcases!
After a whole month of waiting, and $400 later in customs duties, we
finally got our two lonely suitcases that we had to leave at the Salt
Lake City international Airport. Hallelujah!
